Each year, billions of pounds of trash and other pollutants enter the ocean. Some sink, some are eaten by marine animals that mistake it for food, and some accumulates in rotating ocean currents. Plastic alone kills fish, birds, marine mammals and sea turtles, destroys habitats and even affects animals' mating rituals, which can have devastating consequences and can wipe out entire species.
Our mission is to create awareness around the effects of ocean pollution on our Earth and how they are long lasting and harmful to marine life and humans alike. We hope that by playing our game you have fun, but we also want you know that the purpose of our game is to acknowledge one of the biggest environmental issues today.
